The full moon, the barbed wire, and the grasses all caught my eye. Just a typical scene in my area, but quite easy to overlook. I have a hard time capturing just how big those full moons look.

Pretty shot. I agree: I haven't had much luck with getting a good photo of the moon. I think I need a better camera. (It surely can't be operator error, right?)

I've been collecting quotes since I was 16 years old. They come from books I'm reading, magazines, song lyrics, and I've even been known to fumble in a dark theater for a check registry to record a great line from a movie. (You ought to see that in-the-dark handwriting!) I'll give credit when I know who is responsible for the quote. If no author is listed, don't assume it is mine.

All photos are mine, unless otherwise noted. All photos are taken with either a Kodak EasyShare Z612 or a Nikon Coolpix. (Saving my $$ for a more professional camera one of these days.) When I started this blog all photos were straight out of the camera. Now I use picasa to crop, enhance, retouch, and sometimes just play; though I still prefer straight out of the camera. It's easier!

As of 2016, most photos are taken with an iPhone camera.
