The dragonfly:
a flying flower?
This glow-in-the-dark dragonfly yard art
was a gift. I love it. It reminds me of childhool.
My sister and I spent many summers
trying to catch the dragonflies at the creek
--with no luck.
They were so pretty--and obviously
meant to stay free.
you captured this so artfully !

ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of your happy summer quotes!
what a great yard art piece ... and conclusion
ReplyDeleteAs a child I was always afraid of dragonflies. My perception changed when I was older and learned they ate mosquitoes, lots of mosquitoes. Now I love them!
ReplyDeleteHow did I live to 56 without knowing the dragonflies ate mosquitoes? Now I will look at them with respect. I will admit it makes great garden art.
