Flood Waters Recede

The flood waters will recede,
the famine will end,
the sun will shine tomorrow,
and I will always be here to take care of you.
Charlie Brown to Snoopy

We've had a lot of rain around these parts.  The rivers, creeks, and lakes are full to overflowing.  This is what is left when the waters recede.

  2. Isn't that so true about most of us? Disasters have hit this country and others around the world truamitizing and destroying, but when it's all over and the force of nature (or man as in BP)is done, there are ALWAYS people left---people determined to care for each other, for their pets as well as pets separated from their owners or who have lost their owners; people who draw strength from God and from each other as they pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and rebuild.
I've read Charlie Brown over the years, but I missed that gem.
